Had a team dinner here last night and everyone enjoyed their food. It was delicious. We ordered several apps and thought they all was prepared nicely. I had the lasagne pinwheel and it was delicious. Everyone raved about their entree which is difficult with a group of 6. I would eat here again if the opportunity presented itself. I always thought the pricing was reasonable.
A higher end Italian restaurant in the MGM Grand Hotel. We sat at the bar area for dinner. Reservations are not required but recommended. We did not have any. The restaurant has dark lighting, but you can tell it's very clean. The food was excellent. Our bartender/waiter was very attentive and checked on us often. Decent size portions for an average price for that area.
Dining at Luchini was an absolute delight from start to finish. The appetizers were generously portioned and packed with flavor—each bite set the stage perfectly. One standout detail was the Caesar salad: the dressing was beautifully balanced, enhancing the freshness without overwhelming the greens. What truly impressed me was the menu—it felt like it was designed to make dining effortless, offering great value with thoughtful pairings like a glass of wine and an after-dinner drink included. The pasta was perfectly al dente, with just the right texture and taste to leave a lasting impression. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, though I did wish there was just a bit more lighting to brighten the space. Still, the vibe felt intimate and enjoyable. ⭐ Special shoutout to our server, Matthew! He was attentive, knowledgeable, and added so much warmth to the experience. From answering all our questions to offering extra plates so we could sample each other’s meals, his service went above and beyond. My glass was never empty, and the care he showed made us feel genuinely welcomed. Overall, Luchini serves up a memorable Italian experience with rich flavors, excellent service, and a charming ambiance. Highly recommended for anyone craving a satisfying meal with thoughtful hospitality.
A surprise for us. This is a pleasant sea of tranquility in the storm of MGM Grand crowds, noise and lights. Subdued with a low level of lighting and competent quick service, we had a very fine dinner with minimal fuss. The menu is not large but there are a couple of vegetarian dishes, sorry vegans are going to strike out unless they opt for some vegetable sides. Wine list and beers are adequate and background music is subdued unless you are seated at or near the bar. Prices are reasonable for Vegas and seating is generous. Recommend getting to dinner early as the place fills with large tables of conventioneers and it can get a little loud as the evening progresses. Pasta dishes were very traditional and very good although portions were on the smaller side. If pasta is your main course order an appetizer. The focaccia was exceptional. We give it four Google stars or 3.5 clams in the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale.
Food is good. Huge portions. Well seasoned. Wine was great. Place is nice though lights are sooooo low that you can barely read the menu. Not sure it did much for ambiance. Wait staff can benefit from a refresher on grace and courtesy. But the worst was the noise level, which wouldn't be an issue if the tables weren't practically butting into each other and everyone trying to talk over the noise level. Despite the food and drinks being great, I would never step foot in there again.
